Creator of series such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong, Nintendo has been in the video game business since the 1970s. They originally began as a manufacturer of hanafuda (Japanese playing cards) in 1889, and have tried their hand at many things before their entrance into the gaming arena.
