The Wii is Nintendo’s most successful home console, with over 100 million sold worldwide. It makes use of a new control style that allows players to both point at targets on the screen and shake the remote to play games.

Earlier models of the Wii console feature backwards compatibility for GameCube games and controllers, and all versions feature the Virtual Console, a service that allows players to purchase and download classic titles from Nintendo’s previous systems including NES, SNES and Nintendo 64 (and others!)
